Noting that she testified against Attaville Nagle, John Gleeson, John Cullinan and Patrick Healy for attempting to murder William Nagle of Ballyvicanna. Adding that she and her family were sent to Limerick for their protection by Eyre Evans of Ashstill, magistrate and have heretofore received an allowance from Thomas Phillips Volkes, chief magistrate of police, who has now offered her a final lump payment. |

Also letters from Logan, 25 Marlborough Street, [Dublin], to Henry Goulburn, Chief Secretary and William Gregory, Under Secretary, claiming that Cuff was denied the prison allowance having been accused of stealing a watch from another prisoner. Also suggesting that the Chief Secretary’s office follow the example of the Court of Kings Bench and refuse to answer letters from prisoners unless they have been vouched for by the Local Inspector or Inspector General. |
