Letters from Rev Joseph D’Arcy Sirr, Rector of Kilcoleman, Kilcoleman Glebe, [County Kerry], to William Lamb, Chief Secretary and William Gregory, Under Secretary, writing on behalf of Peter Finnegan, a former foreman of the masons employed by Alexander Nimmo in the construction of bridges in Connemara, whom he claims is owed over £48 in wages by the Treasury. Noting that money may have been withheld due to a faulty bridge built to the directions of Mr O’Hara.
