Letter from John Foster, Collon, County Louth, MP for County Louth, to William Gregory, Under Secretary, Dublin Castle, 13 August 1819, enclosing petition of the trustees of turnpike road between Dundalk to Dunleer, County Louth, to Earl Talbot, Lord Lieutenant, Dublin Castle. Requests further sum of £1,000 to complete improvements to the road for conveyance of mail for Post Office. States that tolls of the road are sufficient to cover interest on the total amount advanced for the road. Petition signed by Samuel Little, Thomas Lloyd, FW Fortescue, Alexander Shekleton, Malcolm Brown, and Robert Page, trustees, 4 August 1819.
