Letter from JS Reynolds, office of revenue inquiry, [Dublin], secretary to the parliamentary commissioners of revenue inquiry, to Henry Goulburn, Chief Secretary, Dublin Castle, 2 October 1823, enclosing, as requested by the commissioners, a copy of a letter from Goulburn, to William H Bourne, concerning Bourne's mail coach contract for the conveyance of mail to Limerick, and informing him that the matter of the contract for the Limerick mail is in the hands of the commissioners of revenue inquiry, originally dated 3 September 1823. Reynolds notes that 'it is not the practice of the Commission to take up the cases of Individuals unless specifically referred for their consideration'; with draft copy of letter of reply from Goulburn to Reynolds annotated on reverse. |
