Attested copy of affidavit of Thomas Knox, Viscount Northland, formerly prothonotary of Court of Common Pleas, Ireland, requesting that a detailed schedule be prepared of all records, roll books, and documents of the Court of Common Pleas, following the termination of his office by recent act of parliament, and the appointment of George Hill, Northland's deputy, to post of acting prothonotary. Northland emphasises his concern that all records be safely preserved as they are of public importance, and to prevent him from being held culpable for any future problems.
