Also letter signed by Richard [] King, William P Pigott, and [James George Stopford, 3rd Earl of Courtown] and [James Thomas Stopford, viscount Stopford], confirming that Daniel was killed by rebels in 1798. Noting that he operates a coloured thread factory and that wholesale customers refuse to deal with him following the trial of ribbonmen in Green Street. Noting that he was a lieutenant in the Royal Barrack, a freeman of the Royal Guild of Weavers and a churchwarden and recalling that his father, who was a yeoman, was amongst those who captured the stores of rebels on 23 July 1803. Citing Dr Radcliffe as a referee.
