Claiming that two of Whitney’s yeomanry have been committed to gaol for Whiteboy offences and that ‘some of the wolves have been in sheeps clothing’. Stating that he could convict 50 persons if he could only rely on ‘witnesses not being suborneds’. Noting that [William Handcock, 1st Viscount], Castlemaine’s lodge at Hare Island has been robbed. |
