File of seven memorials by inhabitants of the parishes of Fenaugh [Fenagh], Kiltoghart, Innismagragh [Inishmagrath], County Leitrim, Kilronan, County Roscommon, and Kilmactrany [Kilmactranny], County Sligo, to Hugh Percy, 3rd Duke Northumberland [Lord Lieutenant of Ireland, Dublin], stating that since the departure of magistrate Col Thomas Tenison, Kilronan, and two others there has been no magistrate in the district and that petty sessions are fifteen miles distant; illustrating the case by naming the murder in February of a woman by Neal Brennan, collier of the ironworks colliery, Kilronan; asking to appoint Mulloy McDermott, Commissioner of the Peace, [County Roscommon] as stipendiary magistrate.
