Includes correspondence from Maj William Miller [Inspector General], Fermoy, [County Cork], [Thomas Philips] Vokes, [magistrate], Limerick, [County Limerick], G Fitzgerald, [magistrate], Cashel, [County Tipperary], copy replies and damp press copies by Sir Henry Hardinge, [1st Viscount Hardinge, Chief Secretary, Dublin Castle], and also affidavits and depositions of witnesses: in the Purefoy case, by Constables James Ryan and Thomas Brennan, James Scully and Rev Massey, magistrates, Patrick, Denis, James and Mary Hickey, implicating two persons, and in the Going case, an affidavit by Darby Kenna, approver, Nenagh, [County Tipperary], implicating nine men.
