Minutes of an inquiry into the conduct of Mr Grace, Chief Constable, under the command of Mr Singleton, Chief Magistrate, held in Portumna, [County Galway]; the case involved the neglecting of an order to conduct stable duties and failing to attend a wounded man. Also copy of letter from Singleton, Police Office, Portumna, to Grace, observing that he did not parade his force as ordered and providing detailed instructions with regards to stable duties.
