Also letters from Francis Barker, Secretary, General Board of Health, to Henry Goulburn, Chief Secretary, reporting on the numbers of persons suffering from fever in Saint Thomas’ Parish and enclosing returns from Sir Patrick Dunn’s Hospital, the House of Industry, the House of Recovery on Cork Street and from Robert Bell and Charles Philips Croker. Also draft letter from [probably Goulburn], Dublin Castle, to the Churchwardens of Saint Thomas’ parish instructing them to appoint officers of health to enforce regulations preventing contagious diseases. |
