They convey that proceedings taken against Wheeler before a magistrate, ‘were utterly void, and that an information for the penalties incurred, should be filed against Mr Wheeler, but that to support such information, it would be necessary to have the attendance, as witnesses, of the Persons who informed before the Magistrates; also that we cannot withdraw Mr Wheeler’s License or refuse him another’.
