Letter from Reverend Robert Ball, minister of Royal Chapel of St. Matthew, Ringsend, Dublin, 37 Leeson Street, Dublin, to Charles Grant, Chief Secretary, Dublin Castle, concerning an earlier memorial sent by Ball to the Lord Lieutenant, on the subject of an increase in the allowance for the royal chapel at Ringsend/Irishtown. As no reply has been received, he is sending another, 9 February 1819. Encloses memorial from Ball to Earl Talbot, Lord Lieutenant, Dublin Castle, requesting an increased allowance to cover maintenance of church. Also note by Dublin Castle official containing calculations on the allowance paid, 25 March 1818 and letter from Ball, 37 Leeson Street, to William Gregory, Under Secretary, Dublin Castle, stating that he has still received no rely to his request, 8 April 1819. |
