Includes petition of Dunn to Earl Talbot, Lord Lieutenant, detailing his grievances against Beatty, and alleging that Beatty's harsh treatment is in consequence of Dunn's decision to no longer purchase supplies of wine from Beatty, 22 March 1821. Each details the reasons for their hardships, in particular, the significant reduction in business and profits in recent times. Includes statement of Frederick Darley, head police office, Dublin, on Anne Mitchell's late husband Denis Mitchell, reporting that 'the Chief Customers of the House were hostile to the Government and engaged in the Rebellion of 1798. Mitchell Died last year and it is generally said that his Widow being Loyally disposed business has left the house..', 14 February 1821. |

Relates to McCoy's request for government relief, following his being robbed en route to Dublin. McCoy encloses a certificate from FG Bourns, jailor of Newgate prison, Dublin, stating that Christopher Ryder is being held there awaiting trial, for the robbery against McCoy, 2 February 1821. |
