Includes two decrees of the Lord Lieutenant and Council of Ireland authorising examination of captain and cargo of brig; also includes opinion on case in which it is stated that the vessel was considered ‘to be in a damaged state’, that in different circumstances she might have had permission to proceed, and indicating that in future the captain might contact the Privy Council in Ireland for direction.
