Letter from Charles Dalrymple Lindsay, Church of Ireland Bishop of Kildare, at Tickencote House, Stamford, England, to Sir Compton Domvile, requesting his assistance with Charles Grant, Chief Secretary, to amend the legislation relating to dispensaries in Ireland, which currently does not benefit County Dublin. Emphasises the important role of the County Dublin dispensary in fighting the progress of typhus fever in area, especially since the Dublin hospitals have refused to admit fever patients, 15 March 1821. Also letter from Lindsay to Grant, expressing hope that Domvile forwarded his letter, and urging that the County Dublin dispensary system be placed on equal footing with other counties in Ireland, 31 March 1821. |
