Letter from Edward O'Reilly, Treasury Chambers, Dublin, clerk to the commissioners for inquiring into the state of crown lands, to Charles Grant, Chief Secretary, Dublin Castle, concerning the lands of Mullagha, County Meath, 538 acres of which were returned by various revenue collectors in Trim, County Meath, as 'not to be found'. Refers to a book of maps of area belonging to a friend of O'Reilly's. Urges that most of these lands could be discovered, and states his 'firm belief, that the King's Rents being unpaid for so great a number of years, must be owing to the supineness of those whose duty it was to collect that branch of His Majesty's Revenue'.
