Statement on the case of the rectory of Grangesilvia, in the barony of Gowran, County Kilkenny, and in the diocese of Ferns. Details the history of the rectory since 1702 when it was forfeited by Lord Galmoy, to the Bishop of Ferns, and the legislation relating to it. Concerns possibility that Grangesilvia should be returned to the patronage of the Crown, noting that, 'The Crown now presents to Straboe Rectory & Kilmuckbridge parish in Ferns, similarly circumstanced as forfeitures'. Includes notes concerning candidates presented to Rathmore, Straboe and Kilmuckbridge.

Letter from John Grace, Shortalstown, County Kilkenny, to William Gregory, Under Secretary, Dublin Castle, 19 April 1821, requesting that Gregory forward the enclosed letter from Grace to the commissioners for inquiring into crown lands in Ireland. Grace adds that should Grant intervene on his behalf, 'I shall make you an adequate return for your trouble'. Adds that, 'I have been told that a preference is given to applicants of the established Church to which I belong', 19 April 1821. Enclosed letter from Grace to the commissioners concerns his interest in acquiring the crown lands of Knocktopher, County Kilkenny, and stating that he would 'prefer to purchase than pay a yearly rent', 19 April 1821.
