Includes letter from J Freeman, Richard French and Robert Gregory, Board of Works Office, to William Gregory, Under Secretary, noting that the William Murray, Architect and Inspector of Civil Buildings has recommended changes to the plans including stronger walls to support an iron roof. Also letter from BB Woodward, Inspector General of Prisons, Leeson Street, [Dublin], to Gregory, warning that any further alterations will require addition costs and a further sitting of a grand jury.
