Encloses petition from the residents of Mullinavat to Henry William Paget, Lord Lieutenant, appealing for the foundation of a post office in their town; claiming it is a growing centre of population with a police station and places of worship; noting also that Mullinavat is on the mail coach road from Dublin to Waterford, and that a toll on the road to the latter, which is ten miles away, is an impediment to visiting the post office there, signed by 24 persons. |
