Subsequent letter from Taylor to Gregory, referring to enclosed copies of memorial Gregory’s reply dated 26 April 1827, which stated that his suspension would continue to further notice. Includes subsequent letters from Taylor to Gregory and William Lamb, Chief Secretary, October to December 1827. Also letter from Richard Smyth, George Morris and Helman Kearney, [Commissioners for Paving, Cleansing and Lighting the Streets of Dublin], Paving House, Dublin, to Lamb, stating that they find Taylor’s suspension to be justified, and informing him that they have appointed a provisional officer to discharge his duties.
