Letter from Walter Molony, Chief Constable, Gort, County Galway, to William Gregory, [Under Secretary, Dublin Castle], reporting on developments in investigating outrages, and enclosing affidavits of Michael Quigly, carpenter, Boyanna, [County Galway], employed by Michael Hart, carpenter and surveyor, and Michael Glynn, chairmaker apprentice to Patrick Kelly. Quigly is a member of the Fraternal Society of Ribbonism Fellowship, and Glynn deposes that members of the Terryalts have attempted to recruit him; between them they give the names of over twenty members, with Quigly singling those out who were involved in an outrage against Thomas Cunniffe and Joseph Fairclough, Lisheen, [County Galway], employees of Mr Jeremiah Roseingrave.
