Also memorial from Balmer, 3 Hanover Street, [Rotherhithe London], to Sir Henry Hardinge, Chief Secretary, outlining his case and requesting reinstatement to an equivalent position or office; stating that he served for 14 years as a constable of police, but was removed on account of some financial irregularities in a ‘harsh & hasty’ manner.
